We have been studying fractions in math. Did you know that fractions can be found in art? Or, maybe it is the other way. Did you know that art is about fractions?
The class learned how to draw a face today. Take a look at a human face. Where would you find the eyes? Where would you draw the nose? How about the chin? Place a pencil under the chin and on top of the head; peek at the face. The nose belongs in the middle, or 1/2, of the face. We had so much fun connecting our math fractions to our art project!
