Ice Pancake
After 9 days of indoor recess, not that I was keeping track, we finally were able to go outside. The students enjoyed exploring the playground winter wonderland. They were quite excited to discover an "ice pancake." They discovered pebbles and other nature debris suspended in the ice. They were proud of their discovery, and requested a photo. This discovery occurred at the base of the slide. Others then decided that ice "treasures" might be found on the other slides too!
