Pumpkins have seeds, a hard outer shell, "guts," and can be more colors than just orange. We explored facts about pumpkins in our Scholastic News, so we decided to create pumpkin art with our facts. Students selected a fact to add to their pumpkin.
Each student colored their pumpkins and added crepe paper squares to create a 3-dimensional pumpkin fact. We used our pencils to wrap the crepe paper squares and dip into liquid glue. Students then attached them to their pumpkins. We look forward to sharing these with you when we have conferences next week!
