Science and social studies have united in this unit! We explored how our Earth changes slowly and quickly. As changes occur, landforms are created and destroyed. Erosion is a slow change, while earthquakes and volcanos are quick changes.
Our culminating project involved creating at least five landforms from salt dough. We made the dough on day one. We created our landform models on day two. We waited a week for our dough models to dry. We painted our models on day three. We labeled our models on day four. Each student shared their landform model with the class.
