Corn Seeds

We are growing in many ways!  We have been growing as second-graders.  We have also been growing seeds.  We have radishes and corn underway in our classroom.  The corn seeds were planted about 7 days ago, as of this blog post.  We have been watering our seeds each day, and making observations every other day.

Our seeds have all sprouted!  We discovered that seeds planted deeper in the soil take longer to sprout then the seeds planted closer to the soil surface.  We also discovered that some of our roots found the holes in the bottom of our pots, and are growing out of the holes.  We will continue to observe our corn seed growth.
