Today marks the day of victory in the Battle of Lepanto. The Pope asked all to pray the Rosary on this battle day for victory. The Christian crusaders won this battle on October 7, 1571. Pope Pius V set aside this day, October 7, as the feast of the Most Holy Rosary, and as a day to honor the Mother of God as "Saint Mary of Victory."
We prayed an all school Rosary today, to ask for Mary's intercession on behalf of the Coronavirus, our military family members, healthcare professionals, service professionals, teachers, students, and those experiencing illness. We pray for our families and all who are fighting "battles" at this time. Mary Mother of Peace, pray for us.
